What our customers say

Every review of this company sits on a public profile that anyone can read, and none of it is hosted here. This page collects what customers have written, says where to go and read the rest of it, and shows you how to leave one of your own.

01 Where the reviews are

Our reviews sit on two public profiles

The company holds a 4.7 out of 5 average across 33 reviews on its Google Business Profile, and there are 4 more on the Better Business Bureau profile, where the company is an accredited member.

4.7

33 Google reviews. 4 reviews on the Better Business Bureau profile.

Neither of those profiles belongs to this website. A customer writes a review on Google or on the Better Business Bureau, and the company can reply to it but cannot edit it or take it down. That is the whole reason those two profiles are the ones to read.

We would rather you read them before you call us, and before you call anyone else either. Lawn care is a company coming onto your property every week while you are at work, so it is worth ten minutes of reading first.

How to read reviews of any lawn company

  • Start with the most recent ones. A company can change. What somebody wrote this season tells you more than what somebody wrote five years ago.
  • Look for the reviews that name the job. A review that says which service it was, and on what kind of yard, is far more use to you than one that says the service was great.
  • Read the replies as well as the reviews. How a company answers a complaint tells you what will happen if something goes wrong on your property.
  • Read more than one profile. Google and the Better Business Bureau collect reviews from different people, so the two rarely say exactly the same thing.
02 Leaving a review

How to leave us a review

If we look after your yard, a couple of sentences on one of those profiles helps the next person on your street work out who to call. It takes about two minutes on a phone.

  1. Find the company on Google

Search for Jack Coniam, Inc. in Google or open Google Maps and search for the same name. The business profile comes up beside the results on a computer and at the top of the screen in the app.

  2. Choose a star rating and write two or three sentences

Say what was done and roughly when, and say what the yard looked like afterwards. Two or three sentences is plenty. A short specific review is read more often than a long general one.

  3. Name the service and your part of town

A review that says hedge trimming in Dunedin helps somebody in Dunedin searching for hedge trimming. That one detail is what turns a kind comment into something useful to the next reader.

  4. The Better Business Bureau profile takes reviews too

The company is an accredited member there, and that profile carries customer reviews as well as the accreditation. It is the second place somebody checking us out is likely to look.

How we treat reviews

  • Customers write them, not us. We do not write reviews and we do not trade anything for one. Google removes reviews collected that way, and a rating built like that would not mean anything.
  • Tell us first if something went wrong. Call us before or after you write it. Most of what goes wrong in a yard can be put right on the next visit, and we would rather hear about it than not.
  • Ask us if you cannot find the profile. Call us and we will tell you exactly where to tap.

Read the reviews, then call us

When you have read enough of them, call us and we will come out, walk the property and put a plan together for the yard. There is no obligation once you have it.
